Easy Apple Dumplings

  • 2 cans crescent rolls (16 triangles)
  • 2 Granny Smith apples peeled and cut into 8 pieces each
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 12 oz. can of Mt. Dew
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Place one slice of apple in large end of each triangle.

    Roll up and fold opening as best you can.

    Place in greased heavy pan (11x9-inch).
  4. 4
    Melt margarine, sugar and cinnamon together and pour over dumplings.

    Pour Mt. Dew around dumplings.

    Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes at 350°.

    Take foil off after half the baking time to brown and thicken up.
