  • 34 cup half-and-half cream
  • 12 cup milk
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 18 teaspoon pepper
  • 34 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

    Bring cream, milk, salt and garlic powder to a boil.

    Add potatoes; reduce heat.

    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

    Remove from heat; stir in pepper.

    Pour into greased casserole dish.

    Sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake, uncovered, at 400* for about 5 minutes, until cheese is melted.
