Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 4 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add milk, sugar, salt, eggs, shortening and half of the flour.

3Blend for 2 to 3 minutes, scraping bowl.

4Blend in remaining flour until smooth, scraping sides of bowl.

5Cover; let rise until double, about 1 hour.

6Turn onto floured board or wax paper.

7Use hand and press out to 1/2-inch thick.

8Cut with floured cutter.

9Place on greased pan or sheet.

10(I use 2 large frying pans, sometimes 3, according to size you cut them.)

11Let rise about 20 minutes.

12Bake at 425° until brown.
