- 2 lb. stew beef
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 4 carrots, cut into small pieces
- 3 celery sticks, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. sherry
- salt and pepper to taste
- paprika to taste
Directions

1Place meat in roasting pan.

2Season with salt, pepper, paprika and onion soup mix.

3Add potatoes, carrots and celery.

4In a saucepan, blend celery soup with sherry and pour over meat and vegetables.

5Cover and bake at 250° to 300° for 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
