- 4 slices bacon, sliced
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 (1 lb. each) cans vegetarian beans in tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. tomato ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Saute bacon until almost crisp.

2Add onion; continue to saute until onion is tender.

3Drain excess fat.

4Combine bacon and onion with beans and remaining ingredients in a 1-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, in a 375° oven for 50 to 55 minutes.

5Stir occasionally.

6Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
