Easy Basic Cream Pie Filling

- 6 c. milk
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 drops yellow food coloring
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Use a heavy saucepan (large).

2Mix milk and eggs together in your saucepan, then mix sugar and cornstarch together and add to milk and eggs.

3Stir constantly until mixture thickens and boils up a little bit.

4Remove from heat.

5Add margarine, vanilla and food coloring.

6Makes two 9-inch pies.
