Easy Beer Bread

- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer (room temperature)
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
Directions

1Combine flour and sugar in a large bowl, gradually adding beer and stirring just until moistened. Spoon mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

2Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes or until loaf tests done.

3Brush top with margarine.

4Cool loaf in pan for 10 minutes.

5Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. Slice with electric knife.

6Yields 1 loaf.
