Easy Black Beans & Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cans Bush's Black Beans
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Directions

    Prepare rice according to package directions.

    In a 3qt saucepan over medium high heat, saute the onion and garlic in olive oil until edges of onion just start to brown.

    Add black beans - do not drain off the liquid.

    Add cumin, salt and pepper
  5. 5
    Bring to a boil then turn down to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

    Serve over rice.
