- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 c. sifted flour
- melted butter
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 3 tablespoons of warm water.

2Combine sugar, shortening, 1 cup of warm water, salt and eggs in a large bowl. Mix well.

3Add yeast and flour; beat until smooth.

4Cover and refrigerate overnight.

5Roll dough into circle; brush with melted butter.

6Cut 16 triangles.

7Roll triangles up, beginning with wide end.

8Place on greased baking sheet point sides down.

9Let rise until doubled in bulk.

10Bake in preheated 350° oven until brown.
