Easy Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 1/3 c. raw rice
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 pkg. grated cheese (8 oz. Mozzarella)

Directions

    Brown meat and drain. Add rice and drain.

    In oblong dish, layer cabbage and meat mixture.

    Pour tomato soup and water over top. Bake, covered, at 350° for about 1 or 1 1/2 hours.

    Just before done, sprinkle cheese on top to melt.
