- 1 c. butter
- 1 lb. (2 1/4 c.) brown sugar, (light), packed
- Dash of salt
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1- 15 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
Directions

1Melt butter in heavy sauce pan.

2Add brown sugar and salt. Combine thoroughly. Blend in corn syrup.

3Gradually add condensed milk, stirring constantly.

4Cook and stir over medium heat until candy reaches firm ball stage, about one half hour.

5Remove

6from heat and add vanilla.

7Pour into well buttered 8 x 12 in. glass pan.

8Cool thoroughly and cut into squares.
