Easy Cheddar Rice Casserole

- 14 cup onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 14 cup butter
- 3 cups long grain rice (cooked)
- 2 cups cooked chicken (optional) or 2 cups turkey (optional) or 2 cups ham, diced (optional)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 12 cup fresh parsley, minced
- 1 cup milk
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 34 teaspoon black pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2Melt butter in a large saucepan, and saute the onion and garlic in butter until tender.

3Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

4Pour into a shallow, greased 1-quart baking dish.

5Bake uncovered until knife inserted near center comes out clean (40-45 minutes).
