Easy Cheesy Crescent

  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar or Swiss
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • pinch of cayenne powder
  • 1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 tsp. poppy seed

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Combine the first 4 ingredients. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles.

    Press 2 rectangles over bottom of ungreased 8 or 9-inch square pan.

    Spread half of cheese mixture over dough.

    Place remaining rectangles over cheese, gently stretching to cover.

    Spread with remaining cheese mixture; sprinkle with poppy seed.

    Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.

    Cut into squares.

    Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers.
