- 1 whole fryer
- 1 can cream of chicken soup plus 1/2 can water
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 2 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Boil and debone chicken.

2Place in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Mix soup and water and pour over chicken.

3Mix together flour, buttermilk and melted margarine.

4Pour this batter over chicken mixture.

5Add chicken broth over batter.

6Do not stir. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour (crust rises to top and is golden brown).
