Easy Chicken Pot Pie

  • 1 Pillsbury All Ready pie crusts
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. cubed cooked chicken (4 breast pieces)
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can peas, drained
  • 1 can carrots, drained

    Melt butter in pan.

    Add flour, stirring until smooth and thick.

    Cook one minute, stirring constantly.

    Gradually add broth and milk.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.

    Stir in all of the remaining ingredients.

    Pour into unbaked pie crust.

    Add top crust.

    Make several slits in top crust.

    Bake at 400° for 30 to 40 minutes.
