- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. oil
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a large saucepan, add margarine, oil, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil, stirring as not to scorch.

2Take from heat and pour in sugar, sifted with plain flour and stir.

3Add buttermilk with 1 teaspoon soda stirred in.

4Add beaten eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and salt.

5Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased oblong pan.

6Bake 20 minutes at 400°.
