Easy German Potatoes

- 3 Potatoes
- 5 slice Bacon
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 tsp Butter
- 1 Black pepper
- 1 Salt
Directions

1Peel the potatoes and cut into 6 to 7 mm thick slices.

2Put in a bowl of water and leave for 5 minutes.

3Slice the onion thinly.

4Cut the bacon into 1.5 cm pieces.

5Drain the potatoes leaving some moisture on them, and put into a heatproof bowl.

6Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes at 600w.

7Don't let them get too soft.

8Stir fry the bacon over low heat in its own fat, without adding any oil.

9When some fat comes out of the bacon, add the onion, then the potatoes, and stir fry.

10The potato slices should be cooked on both sides until browned, rather than moving them around all the time.

11Add the butter at the end with plenty of black pepper, and it's done!
