Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp fat drippings
  • 2 cup broth
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Remove all but 2 tablespoons of fat drippings from pan.

    Stir in broth.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring to loosen browned bits.

    Remove from heat.

    In a small bowl stir corn starch and water until smooth.

    Stir into pan.

    Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.

    Season with salt and pepper, as desired.

    For cream style gravy, substitute milk for water.
