- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 5 c. flour
- 6 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Place yeast in 1 cup of warm water with 2 tablespoons of the sugar.

2Then add second cup of water.

3Then stir in egg, sugar and salt.

4Next blend in flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally stir in oil slowly and mix.

5Cover and let double in bulk (about 1 hour), punch down.

6Put into loaf pans and let rise an hour or double.

7Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

8Turn oven up to 425° to brown.
