- 1 qt. jar dill pickles
- 1/2 garlic clove
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. crushed stick cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Combine in a saucepan the sugar, vinegar, crushed stick of cinnamon, celery seed and mustard seed.

2Bring to boiling, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

3Pour hot vinegar mixture over pickles which have been cut diagonally crosswise in 1/2-inch thick slices.

4Add half of garlic clove.

5Set in refrigerator for 1 week before serving.
