- 1 stick butter
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
- 3 c. cake flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. jam
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Place all but last 2 ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat thoroughly.

2Fold in jam and nuts.

3Place in a greased and floured tube cake pan.

4Bake 1 hour at 300°.

5Cool to warm and frost with Caramel Frosting.
