  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. cottage cheese
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 3/4 lb. cooked ground beef
  • 9 uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1/4 c. water
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    In large bowl, mix first 7 ingredients until well blended; set aside.

    In skillet, combine browned, drained ground beef and spaghetti sauce.

    In 9 x 13-inch dish, spread 3/4 cup of meat sauce over bottom.

    Layer 3 uncooked noodles.

    Spread half of cheese mixture and 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce over noodles.

    Layer 3 more noodles.

    Spread rest of cheese mixture.

    Layer last 3 noodles.

    Spread rest of meat sauce.

    Pour water around edges. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top.

    Cover with foil and bake at 375° for 45 minutes.

    Uncover; add 2 cups Mozzarella over top and bake for 15 more minutes uncovered.
