- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 jar (32 oz.) spaghetti sauce
- 1 egg, softly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 container (15 oz.) Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 9 lasagne noodles, uncooked
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
Directions

1Crumble ground beef in large glass bowl.

2Cook on High 2 to 3 minutes, or until beef is browned; stir once.

3Drain.

4Stir in spaghetti sauce and water.

5Cook at High 4 to 5 minutes or until bubbly.

6Meanwhile, combine Ricotta, egg, salt and pepper.

7Spoon 1/2 cup sauce in 12 x 8-inch dish.

8Alternately layer noodles, egg mixture, Mozzarella and sauce, forming 3 layers.

9Cook, covered with plastic wrap on High 8 minutes and on Medium-low 35 to 38 minutes, or until noodles are tender.

10If necessary, shield ends of dish with foil during last 10 minutes of cooking time.

11Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese; let stand, covered, 15 minutes before serving.
