Easy Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 1/2 c. (28 oz.) tomato in puree
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced zucchini
- 4 oz. dry wide-egg noodles, cooked and drained (1 1/2 c.)
- 1 (4 oz.) c. shredded cheddar cheese
Directions

1In large skillet, brown beef with onion and garlic.

2Drain well.

3Mix in tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.

4Simmer 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

5Mix in zucchini, cook for another 10 minutes.

6Blend in noodles.

7In 12 x 7-inch baking dish, layer half of meat mixture and half of cheese.

8Repeat layers.

9Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
