Easy Onion Chicken
7 ingredients
6 steps
Ingredients
- 1 (2 ounce) bag onion soup mix
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 cup milk (roughly)
- 12 teaspoon garlic salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- extra virgin olive oil (Enough to be 1/4 inch deep in whatever pan you're using)
- 4 -6 pieces boneless chicken, 1/2 inch thick
Directions
-
1Mix the dehydrated soup mixture with the flour, garlic salt, and pepper.
-
2Heat the olive oil on medium until when the handle of a wooden spoon inserted into it, bubbles appear around the handle in the olive oil.
-
3Dip the chicken into the milk, then the flour mixture.
-
4For a thicker breading I sometimes dip it in the milk, then flour again, but it's good either way.
-
5Set the chicken into the pan and cook until brown on either side and cooked through.
-
6You can substitute the olive oil for your favorite oil, but I tend to favor evoo because I like how it fries things up :).
