Ingredients

  • 1 (3 to 4 lb.) arm or chuck roast
  • 1 lb. fresh carrots (whole)
  • 3 to 6 stalks celery
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 6 to 8 small potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup

Directions

    Place roast and vegetables in a large, covered roasting pan (no need to brown roast).

    Mix seasoning and soups in a bowl. Pour over roast and vegetables.

    Cover and bake at 300° for about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.

    Makes great gravy.
