Ingredients
- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) arm or chuck roast
- 1 lb. fresh carrots (whole)
- 3 to 6 stalks celery
- 2 onions, sliced
- 6 to 8 small potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
Directions

1Place roast and vegetables in a large, covered roasting pan (no need to brown roast).

2Mix seasoning and soups in a bowl. Pour over roast and vegetables.

3Cover and bake at 300° for about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.

4Makes great gravy.
