Easy Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. brisket, rump roast or pot roast
  • 4 or 5 potatoes, quartered
  • 1 or 2 lb. carrots, cut up (frozen or raw)
  • 3 onions, peeled and quartered
  • 2 envelopes brown gravy mix
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 c. water

Directions

    In a crock-pot, place carrots, onions and meat.

    Put potatoes around meat.

    Mix in 2 cups of water, gravy mix and onion soup mix; stir well.

    Pour over meat and veggies.

    Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or high 4 to 5 hours.

    (When you feed the dogs, share some carrots.

    After all, they have smelled this cooking all day!!)
