  • 16 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 14 oz. can chicken broth (ready to serve)
  • 2 c. water
  • 10 oz. cream of celery soup
  • 2 c. milk
  • garnishes (diced ham, bacon and shredded Cheddar cheese)

Directions

    Combine potatoes, onion, chicken broth and water in Dutch oven.

    Bring to boil.

    Cover; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in soups and milk.

    Heat thoroughly.

    Garnish as desired. Makes 2 1/2 quarts.

    Add red pepper flakes to taste for added flavor.
