- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 4 large eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. heavy cream, heated
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- 1 uncooked pie shell
Directions

1Cut bacon in 1/2-inch pieces and fry until very crisp.

2Drain off fat.

3Put cooled bacon pieces in pie shell.

4Cover with shredded Swiss and chopped onion.

5Heat cream and add to well-beaten eggs.

6Add seasonings (very small amount of nutmeg). Pour into pie shell.

7Bake in preheated 350°

8oven for 1 hour.
