- 8 chip steaks
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 med. onion, finely sliced
- Prepared French's mustard
Directions

1On each steak, spread thin layer of mustard.

2Place bacon slice on top.

3Place a few slices of onion.

4Roll up snugly and fasten with toothpicks.

5Brown in small amount of shortening or possibly oil.

6When well browned, add in approximately 2 c. water and simmer for approximately 1 1/2 hrs.

7Mustard will thicken gravy.

8Excellent with broad buttered noodles or possibly mashed potatoes.

9Variation: In roll, you can put a dill pickle, carrot, or possibly omit pickle, mustard and carrot, and add in bay leaf while simmering.
