- 5 Tomatillos
- 9 Serrano Chilies (Jalapeno Can Be Used As Well For A Milder Taste)
- 2 pinches Salt
- 1 bunch Cilantro, Chopped (optional)

2Remove husk from tomatillos and rinse well.

4Remove the top stem (you may also remove the seeds for a milder taste or leave them whole like I do) and rinse.

6Place tomatillos and serrano chilies in a pot and cover with water.

8Bring to a boil for about 1-2 minutes.

10Remove from the heat and place tomatillos and chiles in a blender (do NOT add waterthe tomatillos absorb enough water during the cooking process).

12Blend for about a minute until smooth, or until it reaches your desired texture.

15Add a little salt and and chopped cilantro if desired!

16You may enjoy this right away or place it in the fridge for a couple hours to cool down.
