  • 2 Potatoes
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil (for stir frying)
  • 150 ml Water
  • 1/2 tsp Dashi stock granules
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin

Directions

    Cut the potato and the carrot into thick strips.

    Cook Step 1 in sesame oil.

    Add the water, dashi granules, and seasoning ingredients.

    Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

    You can eat this right away, but if you wait about 30 minutes and reheat it right before eating, the seasoning will settle into the potatoes even more.
