Ingredients

  • 1 large cabbage
  • 2 large bell peppers
  • 4 to 5 hot peppers
  • 4 large onions
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cut up cabbage, peppers and onions.

    Add salt and cover; let stand for 1 hour in ice.

    Mix vinegar, sugar and 1 teaspoon salt and bring to a boil.

    Drain cabbage mixture and pour syrup mixture over.
  5. 5
    Store in refrigerator.
