Easy Spinach Bake

  • 2 (10 ounce) pkges. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 12 cup sour cream
  • 1 (3 ounce) pkge. cream cheese, softened
  • 14 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 12 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 12 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled
  • 1 (2 7/8 ounce) can French-fried onions
  • 12 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

    In a large bowl, using a fork, combine spinach, sour cream, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, egg, seasonings and 2/3 rds can of french fried onions.

    Put spinach mixture into a 2 quart casserole.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

    Top with cheddar cheese and remaining french fried onions and bake for 5 minutes more or until onions are golden brown.
