- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 sticks butter
- 8 eggs
- 1 tsp. almond or lemon extract
Directions

1Cream butter.

2Add sugar slowly, beating constantly to cream well.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well and constantly. Stir in almond extract.

4Turn batter into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.

5Bake at 325° for an hour and a half, or until cake is done.

6Cool and serve.
