  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Spread nuts in bottom of a 6 x 10-inch pan or round pie tin. Boil butter and sugar 5 minutes or to 310°, stirring constantly. Pour over nuts, then put chips over hot mixture.

    Cover pan with a bread board to hold in heat.

    When chips are melted (about 5 minutes), spread chocolate smooth and refrigerate until cool.
