- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Guittard choc-au-lait
- 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix butter, sugar and milk in heavy 2 1/2 to 3-quart saucepan. Bring to full boil, stirring constantly.

2Boil 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir in chips until melted.

5Add marshmallow cream, nuts and vanilla; mix well.

6Pour into greased 9-inch square or 13 x 9-inch pan.

7Cool at room temperature; cut into squares.
