Easy Yeast Pie Crust

- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. shortening
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. water (the right amount of water can only be determined by experimentation because it is dependent on the flour)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. yeast
Directions

1Thoroughly blend flour, salt and shortening.

2Add yeast to 1/4 cup of warm water to dissolve.

3Add to flour mixture with fork (sprinkle additional water to form a ball).

4Divide into 4 parts for crust.

5Dough will roll out very easy if you allow this to set about 20 minutes before working into a crust.

6Roll and shape into crusts.

7Pie crust may be made and frozen for future use.

8This dough is easy to handle and makes a very tender and flaky crust.
