Ingredients

  • 1 lb. whole pecans
  • 8 oz. candied cherries
  • 8 oz. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. dates
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla

    Chop fruit into small pieces.

    Add 1 cup sugar.

    Add WHOLE pecans.

    Stir very good and set aside.

    In another bowl, mix 1 cup sugar, flour, eggs, salt and vanilla.

    Mix together good and add to first mixture.

    Mix very good.

    Grease and flour (I use Baker's Joy) a Bundt or tube pan.

    Pour in mixture.

    Bake at 275° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
