- 6 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. softened butter
- 2 c. very warm water (120~ to 130~)
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Mix together 1 1/2 cups of flour, sugar, salt and yeast.

2Add butter.

3Gradually add water. Beat 2 minutes at medium with electric mixer.

4Add eggs, 1/2 cup flour and beat at high speed two minutes.

5Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.

6Cover and let rise until double, about 35 minutes.

7Punch down.

8Turn into 2 well-greased loaf pans or 1 1/2-quart casserole.

9Cover. Let rise again, about 40 minutes.

10Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
