- 1 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 1 lb. sharp cheese
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 c. whole milk or half and half
Directions

1Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk; add cheese. Season with 1/4 teaspoon each of thyme, marjoram and basil.

2Make 3 layers of egg, bacon and sauce.

3Sprinkle snipped parsley over top.

4Cover with buttered crumbs.

5Bake for 1/2 hour at 350° or until bubbly.
