  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. milk (1 1/2 c. whole milk, 1/2 c. evaporated)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 unbaked pie shells or 1 deep dish shell

Directions

    Heat milk to boiling.

    Beat eggs and sugar.

    Pour boiling hot milk into egg and sugar mixture and beat for 1 minute.

    Bake at 475° for 5 minutes, then 425° for 10 minutes.

    Done when knife comes out clean when inserted in center of pie.
