  • 8 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 3 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 to 3/4 stick margarine
  • 2 deep-dish unbaked pie shells or 3 regular pie shells

Directions

    Scald milk with margarine in pot (do not boil) or double boiler. Beat eggs, sugar and flavoring with electric mixer. Pour milk/margarine over this mixture and beat. Pour in pie shells. Bake 10 minutes at 450°; turn down and bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350°.
