- 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 c buttermilk
- 1 c flour
- 1 t salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1 c bread crumbs
- 1 t baking powder
- oil for frying
Directions

1Cut chicken into 1/2 inch strips and place in a large plastic bag.

2Combine egg, buttermilk and garlic powder and pour over chicken.

3Seal and refrigerate 2-4 hours.

4In another large reclosable bag, combine flour, bread crumbs, salt and baking powder.

5Drain chicken and discard buttermilk mixture.

6Place chicken in bag with flour mixture and seal.

7Shake to coat.

8Heat oil to 375 F and fry chicken 4-5 minutes or till golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

9Serves 6.
