  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. milk, warmed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • nutmeg

Directions

    Beat eggs with sugar, a little at a time.

    Add warm milk, a little at a time.

    Stir in salt, nutmeg and vanilla.

    Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 325° and bake another 10 minutes. Serves 8.
