  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
  • 2 1/2 c. scalding milk
  • dash of nutmeg (optional)

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, salt and flavorings.

    Slowly pour in milk.

    Mix well.

    Add to 9-inch pie shell, add nutmeg to top of pie.

    Bake on lowest rack of oven at 375° for 30 to 50 minutes.
