  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 4 large eggs or 6 small
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, butter, salt and nutmeg.

    Add milk and beaten eggs. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 425° for 7 minutes or at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.
