  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • nutmeg

    Beat 6 whole eggs until fluffy; add 1 cup sugar.

    Beat well. Add 2 cups milk and the vanilla.

    Chip 1/4 stick butter; mix thoroughly.

    Pour in unbaked 9-inch pastry shell.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 425° about 20 minutes, then turn back to 325°. Bake about 20 to 25 minutes or until firm.
