  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 c. scalded milk
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Blend egg yolks, sugar, salt & nutmeg with whisk. Slowly pour in scalded milk. Add vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Bake another 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
