  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix eggs, sugar and salt together; beat until foamy.

    Add scalded milk and vanilla; beat well.

    Bake pie crust 5 minutes at 450° before adding the filling.

    Add filling and bake 5 minutes at 450°; reduce heat to 350° and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
